Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

as much as I hate competition on ebay and here for buying razors I think there are plenty out there and it's great that more people are getting exposed. I also think it's great that Max is getting recognized, and via the new orders I'm sure are pouring in, for the very high quality of his work.

I just sent him the first razor I had, the one that sparked this whole interest. As happy as I was with the last one I know that this one will be even more cherished because it has been in the family for at least 60 years. (I don't know if my great-great uncle bought it new or not).

I'll also second the statements that reveal his very helpful nature. he has given me lots of information and advice helping me out as a newbie.

Now we just need somebody like George Clooney to come out as a straight razor shavor. we might see the disposable and superblade market on the ropes and straights in supermarkets!

Thanks for posting this....one of the reasons I thought razor restoration looked so cool was because I saw Max's posts in the restore area, his ability as a restorer is well-completed by the photographic quality that presents them...if he takes the pics then he's a double/triple/quadruple? threat. Kudos! I love going over to his site and browsing...especially that Henckels 401 that got sold a while ago.
