Thread: Another silly shaving "avatar" thingy

Anyone want this this as an avatar so I can go back to my old one? It's an animated GIF of the Home Alone scene when the character Kevin slaps on his Dad's Brut ....

The problem is its a big GIF, too big for the 6k limit to store it here directly, but you can put it in your webspace elsewhere and link back to it as an avatar in the avatar-setting dialog in the profile section .... works for me using PhotoBucket.com FREE photo web-space ....

Plu-ease? Anyone? I miss my old avatar

David, I don't want this avatar, and i think that the little feet stamp with your signature would be perfect for your new avatar.

Anyways, i cant see the gif moving. As well as Randy's avatar. Dont know what it is, it wont animate in any browser, Firefox, IE, Opera.

Ah, sounds like you need to tweak your multimedia settings in your browsers.

In IE, go to TOOLS>INTERNET_OPTIONS

There, choose the tab maked ADVANCED

Scroll down to the heading for MULTIMEDIA

Check-mark all the boxes thereunder and click on the OK button

Refresh your browser ..... see the icon animations now?

Nope,

Fresh WinXP+SP2 install on formated HD. But before that i was also not able to see the animated gif's on this page. Dont know what it is...

I would recommend against animated gif avatars because they make for some very long load times for those on dial up. Just an FYI on that.
