Thread: Its good to be back

We went on vacation this past week. My wife convinced me to just take my trak III instead of a straight razor. I havent used anything but a straight for about 4 months now. I was suprised how rough a shave I got from the trak III. When we got back the first thing i did was shave with a straight razor. My wife even commented on how much better the straight did compaired to the trak. Im now looking for a paddle strop or a loom to use when we are away from home.

I'm on holidays now too. One month over seas is far too long to go without a straight shave. To make matters worse I have bought two new straights over here but my hones are back home. So while I spend some spare time cleaning them up I have to wait until I get home to do some honing and have a shave with my new toys.
