Very well done vids! Thanks for taking the time to put them together. You should not feel the need to apologize for anything, especially the quality of a second or third language. I always appreciate your input to our straight razor quest for perfection!

Thanked: 172Thanks for the vids, and i could understand every word clearly. I have one question,
Would you explain what you are looking for thru the microscope at the different stages of the honing? Or are there other posts & videos on this sight that give that information?Consider where you will spend ETERNITY !!!!!!

Excellent questions.
i will make by hand pictures on my next vid and show exactly what i was looking for every single time when i change grit of the stones.
MIcroscope i bought from radioshack it has 60-100x magnification and focus. i did focused before i start making vid because it takes a little time.
i made mistake and it was my first time. usb camera records and doesn't have pause bottom . video was 34 minutes that exact time took me make razor shave ready. then i couldn't post it anywhere. Next vid i will make 5 min long and i can post in here right away.
thank You guys i will a lot better about my language barrier appreciate.

Thank you, Sham.
I am a bit jealous of all your Eschers. Try that 16K Shapton. I think you will like it. I use it just before my finial finisher, my Nakayama.
* You have a very interesting "stroke" - What's important about it is that your up and your back stroke is very identical to each other. very important!
Good job, Sham!
