Thread: Hehe... The GF is officially converted to DE!

I managed to convince her to use my Merkur on her legs last week to compare to the expensive venus thousand blade cartridge she has been using for ever. She seemed to like the closer shave but didn't seem too enthused. Well, the other day I came home and she said " Honey I hope you don't mind I used your razor again". Lol, we went out today and picked up an old Gillette for her from the antique store due to it being much lighter and nimble to shave her legs with. The Merkur is the heavy barber pole model. I'm proud of her! Now, how can I talk her into letting me try one of the straights out on her...

My wife was an easy convert to the DE. The first time she used it, she said there was not point in using the Venus any more because the DE was much better. So much for technological improvements.

I should totally try it...somehow, it sounds totally sexy...

It rubs off after a while! I have been married for 9+ years now, and using a straight long before I met my wife. She started using a straight on her legs about 2 or 3 months ago. I asked her why. Her comment: If you can't beat them, join them!

i got into DEs after starting out with a straight and once i found a couple i decided to get my G/F gillette blue star. she really likes it. she was never one to go for the newest technology and really doesn't enjoy shaving, but with the DE she says its faster and closer. i highly doubt that she would start into SR shaving, though she doesn't mind if i shave her legs for her.
