    Default question for barbers?

I was wondering if barbers always disinfect their straight blades in between each customer? For shaving the back of the neck for example. Hoping some barbers can shed some light. Thanks.

My dad is a barber (50 years) and I believe that they cannot use a traditional razor anymore. I think they have to use a shavette type with disposable blades and then change blades between customers. I will ask him to make sure. I'll also ask what he used to do in the day.

Barbers have to disinfect everything in between customers. Scissors, combs, blades. If they didn't that's one place I wouldn't want to go to.
