Even when I travel, I still take a straight, albeit a razor that is no great financial or sentimental loss. I never want to use a disposable again.

You may want to think about getting a double-edge razor for travel, or to use when you are in a hurry. I prefer my straight razor of course, but the ole double-edge I picked up at a thrift store for 2$ works as if it was brand new. The blades of course can be ordered off of various web sites, come in 10 packs, and last quite awhile. They also still give a better shave than any of those plastic disposible, multi-blade contraptions. Great job for your first shave there Elliette. I am sure Spiderman loves riding around on your knee, but please do take care on the difficult spots.
