I'm 40 and it's been about a year since I started using a straight again. I first started with a Dorko straight about 1990, it pulled and scraped my face like crazy so I stopped. I didn't understand that it wasn't shave ready until I discovered this forum when I started searching for information on straight razors last year. I just got fed up with using disposables and electric.

I'm 27, I don't think of it as young just like I don't think of 55 as old.
I have been shaving with a straight for about 6 months.
