Thanked: 293Permission to Sell in Classifieds
Being a new guy (relatively), I figured the appropriate thing to do is to ask for approval to sell on the classifieds, rather than just jumping in and doing it. I am working on a solid 7 to 14-day rotation of razors for personal use only, but if something doesn't immediately strike my fancy, or if I already have too many of a single grind, size, etc, I'd like to be able to cycle them out to other users who may want them.
I have over 100 forum posts and I've been pretty active over the last two months or so. Anybody have any problems with this?
Thanks,
Ogie

Thanked: 3795No approval is needed at this time. Some people still have their first few posts as for sale ads...
and then they disappear.

Thanked: 293Well.. that's kind of my point. I wanted to avoid that stigma if possible (i.e. "the new guy is just here to sell his stuff and does not provide anything meaningful to the forums"). The only reason I posted here was because there had been some talk about a 100 post minimum for selling in the classifieds.
Also, I thought it would be a gesture of good will towards the people who run the show here.... BUT... I'll PM GWH when the first one goes up .

The Mod team is working on a cohesive set of rules for the classifieds right now actually!
For now, anyone may post a classified ad.
