Thread: Vegas Trip - Aftermath

Well I'm back after 10 days in Vegas playing in the VNEA pool tournament. Had a great time except when I was scrambling to find Truefitt and Hill.

For those of you who do not know already, and who may be visiting Vegas in the future, Truefitt and Hill is no longer located in the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace. Although vegas.com and even truefitt's own website still list it as being there, I assure you, it isn't. I had to find this out the hard way by going there and being devestated at it's abscence.

Fortunately because of some people on this forum I located their new shop. They have moved into the Mirage. They are in the back corner of one of the Spa's just off of the casino floor. It's a little hard to find. However, there was pretty much no one booked in when I went (no doubt due to most people thinking that the Vegas location was closed for good). My $65 half hour shave lasted for about an hour and 15 minutes, as did my friends right after me. It was great to sit and chat with Noe (the gentleman who gave me a shave) about some of the products and shaving in general without worrying about a customer waiting. However, while I did stock up on Truefitt products while I was there, they have not recieved inventory since they moved locations, so their stock is currently limited. Never the less, if you should venture down the strip in the near future, fear not, Truefitt and Hill will still be there.

Glad you had a good trip, that is good to know about T&H as I thought they had closed up permanently too. I hope you did well in your tournament.

I'm going to try to get to vegas in November to visit a friend and try and cause some trouble.

Been there many decades ago wasn't into wet shaving at the time.

It sounds like the trip went well and the shave was wonderful! I'll have to check it out if I'm ever up there.

I highly recommend it, I don't think I have ever had such clean lines on my sideburns or goatee.
