I needed to contact JimR and had to track him down through other means and I needed to contact OldSchool as well.
Now I can't get Chrome to stop redirecting to SRD.

Thanked: 4942Based on the number of emails and phone calls we got regarding the short pause in service and the anxiety it caused, we have decided to offer special StraightRazorPlace Down Time Insurance to help us through any future situations. The premiums will be extremely high while the policy benefits will be surprising limited. This will be a programs similar to our 12 step program aimed at helping people out with RAD. As you know that program doesn't work either.
So make sure that you and all your friends are aware of this new offering and be the first in your neighborhood to own this wonderful policy.
Remember that David and the team here is always working for you and that kind of reassurance should be more than comforting to all.
Thanks for all the hard work David!!!!!
Best regards,
Lynn

I suspect many of us need to have some administrators/mods on pager. I get a little tick in my right eye when things even slow some. Geez I've only been coming here for a few months and I'm hard core hooked. I'll do bad things to employees that waste excessive time online but I have to admit I may spend just a little too much time scanning here as well as looking for razors, reading the Wiki db (a bit like reading the phone book now but much more interesting), and seeing what some of the characters here are up to. In all, a very satisfactory experience!
Let's see, so far RAD, HAD, SAD, SCAD, and now SRPRD. I'm running out of acronyms to justify this obsession. I wonder if any members here are shrinks, and if they may have diagnosed some type of compulsive disorder running rampant in the members here?

Thanked: 4942OK OK OK,
After the relentless questioning regarding the short intermission that we took for upgrading today, I must disclose the truth...............
The fictional friendship between Joel and I along with the allegation of vulgarity and a retaliatory banning have impeded the attempt at making sure that all wetshaving forums are completely aligned in our efforts to enjoy and spread the joy of straight razor shaving. It was further disclosed that Don was not banned from B&B for his association with SRP. The Secret Service mistook him for someone else and there was a terrible mistake made. He is still a moderator over there and we just didn't realize it. As a result, we took the opportunity and were in deep discussions with the Obama administration and the legislature and after exhausting efforts and comprimises by all parties we have agreed to go forward as the Straight Razor Badger. We are hopeful that all constituents will reach across party lines with a hearty handshake and congratulate David on his heroic efforts and bring this nation into a new alignment that will prosper for posterity.
Let us welcome all straight razor bretheren into the fold, share all our knowledge and go forward as a united democracy of the best groomed and most aromatic population known in history. Let all our brothers and sisters around the globe see this example as one of brotherhood, truth, justice and the way that civilized wetshavers should always exist.
So, I am hopeful that one an all will spread the word and rejoice!!!!
Have fun,
