Thanked: 4942Thank You!!
I just wanted to say thanks to all you folks for all the well wishes surrounding my upcoming hip surgery. I can't tell you how much all your positive thoughts mean to me. This place, because of you people is awesome!!!!!
FYI, Cathy and I were walking out the door today to go to the Hospital as the surgery was supposed to be at 11 AM this morning and we got a call that the Doc was sick. We are back up at bat for Thursday at 11AM. I need a cigar and a ****tail.......cheeeeezzzzzzz.
Have fun!!!

Lynn, let my add my good wishes for an uncomplicated surgery and a quick recovery. I am sorry to hear that it was delayed. I had that happen once. It really stinks to be all set mentally and physically for it, to have it delayed. More waiting and nerves.

My thoughts will be with you Lynn. Yeah about the postponement. After doing all the pre-op starving and not drinking anything it had to be the pits!! When I had some knee surgery long ago it was scheduled for 1 PM so I had to wait all morning on an empty stomach and no coffee! And to top it off someone in the hospital was brewing coffee as I waited on the gurney to be pushed into the surgery suite... Geeez!!

wish you all the best Lynn, I recently had family members who went through the same thing... It was tough right at first, but now they feel like a million bucks.
Take care, best wishes

Best wishes Lynn, at least it was postponed for long.
When I saw this post, and before I read it, I thought,
"My goodness, is he posting from the hospital or
something? Madness!"

My prayers are with you, Lynn for a successful surgery and a quick and complete recovery. Don't skimp on the physical therapy! Aside from the surgery, PT is the ticket to recovery.
We love ya, Lynn!

I hadn't heard... here's to a quick recovery! And yeah having a surgery delayed like that really sucks. Not just the whole state of mind thing but if you had to do any prep like fasting or whatnot.
