Thanked: 4942Howdy,
Thank you all so much for all the kind wishes. I can't tell you how much this has meant to me!!!!! You folks make this place rock!!!!!
I am still looking around the house for some extra red blood cells, but getting around is already easier. If anyone wants the extra 30 pounds I've been dragging around lately, I'll just give them away. No ebay auctions there. Maybe I can find those 2 inches of height I lost in the process too........ Now on to the honing and restoration work and hopefully a couple of write ups and razor pics.
I am very grateful to you all,
LynnLast edited by Lynn; 06-22-2009 at 08:11 PM.

You'll be good as new in no time, big guy.
Glad the "remove and replace" went well.Last edited by Bill S; 06-23-2009 at 12:29 AM.

You'll be good as new in no time Lynn.... maybe better than new.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 335Hmm,
Didn't know Lynn had been surged. That was the hip which was commented upon needing some warranty work?
So Lynn,
Best wishes for a close and smooth recovery. A very good friend had bi-lateral hip replacement about 20 years ago and he's doing just fine. It's amazing what can be done with a little stainless steel and plastic. I hope all's well and stays well.
Cheers, Bruce
