I used a demin or heavy Twill and line with velvet. Edge with seam binding and use excess seam binding for the ties. Holli4pirating posted the one I gave him on here. I will have to see If I can find the thread. It's under one of the WNY meet postings from last year.

I'm doing one in the same black leather as the case Victoria was in with a velvet lining. I'm trying to decide between a tie or snap closure.

If I had access to some leather without it costing a fortune I would. Other than Joann Fabrics there is not a good place to source leather here.

Leather is $$$ no matter where you get it. I buy in bulk enough to get a better price, but still isn't cheap. The individual cases I make are made from the fall off of biker chap leathers. I did an elk case for a friend's razor a cpl of weeks ago, and currently have 2 buckskin cases in process. The individual cases are nice for the current razor in use and for travel. I also do a case of light tooling leather and those have turned out cool too.

I have been looking for leather jackets, pants ect. Around here even the trashed ones go for $20.00. It's pretty sad.
