And now we have his feedback on the auction...

EBAYER BEWARE buys goods product tries to return them BROKEN and LOST
Let's see. Maybe I could solicit a contest for the best response to this from you guys, holding to that 80 character limit, and then give a set of scales to the winner. Not #6. They are kinda ink: spoken for.

My idea so far is to disguise a web address in the response field that directs people to one of my extra web pages, give this twit up for what he is, and then fire for effect. Which, of course, includes providing his telephone number, his email address, and his home address to the entire world. :P

Then he can start receiving hate mail from both of my friends...

Bill, sounds like a good idea!

This guy is a complete and utter arsehole and deserves nothing less.

Maybe you could send some bikies around to pay him a social call but he is most likely to dim-witted to realise why someone is beating the crap out of him.

Better still you could enrol him in a remedial literacy class, judging from his responses he needs all the assistance he can get

This sort of seller really pisses me off..

Hi guys, I'm a brand new member who found these forums just the other day, unfortunately after I "won" a razor in an Ebay auction.

I figured, ahh heck even if it's not so great I can still use it to learn to hone/strop, and buy one that can be used to actually learn to shave with from one of the members here or from a reputable dealer.

Well, it came today, and as you can imagine, it wasn't quite what I thought it would be. It was as described I guess, "no rust" but a little "patina", but a big split in the blade and two tiny chips.

Wow! As I'm typing this, the seller just let me know very nicely that he was sorry, and is refunding my money! Nice guy!

Anyhow, I think I'll stick to one of you guys, or someone you can recommend.

    brussolino,
I think you did well. I have yet to have a Henckels in any sort of respectable shape that wasn't an outstanding razor. I've never had a bad one.

    Hello Tommy,

It was good speaking with you earlier this morning. If you want to buy a razor from one of the people here then go to the Gallery and look for any persons individual gallery that has some razors for sale or go to the "Gear for Sale Gallery" and check that out. Also look in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum for listings and also check out the classifieds. Over on the original site at Yahoo there are also some listings.

One razor that you may not know about is the SRP Club razor. This is being sold by Classicshaving.com.
It is a limited edition, serial numbered razor that is outstanding in every way. I ordered three of them. One I will shave with and two will be held as an investment. the link is

    Just some ideas,
