Thread: Straight Razor books

Are there any good books out there that talk about different brands of razors? I see so many brand names on ebay that I have no idea of their history and there is very little good info on brands on the net (that I can find).

Run a search on Amazon for Standard Guide to Razors by Roy Ritchie and Ron Stewart is a must to have.

Bill, thanks a bunch for your response. I have actually been to that website and bookmarked it, but after a computer crash, I just simply could not find it again. I will write it down this time since I see another crash coming soon, ugh. I never thought of contacting them, so I will try that, too.

I bought a book from lulu.com by Chris Moss called THE ART OF THE STRAIGHT RAZOR SHAVE. I am a beginner but it sure helped me.

Chris' book is very good. Like Arthur Boon with pictures. Another good one is the Razor Anthology published by Knife World. Lynn
