Thanked: 29Going to Chicago
I will be in Chicago next week to visit family and was wondering if anyone knew of any shops that I should check out? We will be spending the majority of the time in the North burbs and probably some time downtown(aquarium/museum areas). A place stocking Dovo or TI razors would be awesome but not very hopeful on finding that.

Truefitt & Hill and Art of Shaving both have Chicago stores (downtown for both, I think). Maybe not what you had in mind, but hopefully a "local" will jump in with better intel. Good luck.

Truefitt & Hill (900 N Michigan Ave.shops) Nice shop and they do shaves.
Macy's on 111 N. State St. Two sections both on the 1st floor.
The Art of Shaving and Merz Apothercary section.
Both are within walking distance. Have Fun!

One of my favorite places, and the thing I miss most about Chicago is Merz Apothecary. I hated living there, but this was a major plus. I can't seem to find anything like it in Minneapolis.
Merz is also known as Smallflower.com (same thing, just their online identity). Pretty much everything on the site is in the store.

Enjoy!!
