Default 1908 Congressional Hearing Dealing with SRs

I liked this one - it's about tariffs and is that transcript where they talk about making straight razors and touches on Korn and Torrey razors (probably others as well) and speaks some to which company "controls" what part of the New York market. This is a Congressional Hearing from 1908.

The link may take you to page 2205. Talk about Torey and Korn starts a few pages earlier. The sections that's interesting about razors starts on page 2199 and starts with Edward Vreeland and talk about "..a small industry which hardly at present exists in this country." which is of course the US straight razor manufacturing business.

Again, this is a Google book and can be read online or downloaded for later.

Good call - I'll do that. I was (just a little) trying to put enough of these up so that a mod might create a literary area or some other specific area for these types of historic literature as well as written records of interest.
