Thanked: 1Any Dutch people around?
Hi,
I was just wondering, are there more Dutch members on this site?
If so, drop me a line.

Thanked: 0We used to have a member called Dirk that was living in the netherlands. Marvellous chap, always had a story to tell (i.e. stropping his razors on the leg of his leather motorcycle pants when he was on holiday!).
Does anyone know where he is? I havent heard from him in ages. Hope he's not lost to us.
regs,
Andy

Thanked: 0I remember Dirk, nice chap, can't remember when he last posted, I don't have the opportunity to post often myself. I'm "kind of Dutch", at least my passport says so. But I currently live in the UK. Any more around? Do you feel "cornered" Hoekman?
In case anybody looks for someone from Sweden, I'm also half Swedish, and my mother tongue is French for all the French, Quebec, Belgian or Swiss born! ink:

Thanked: 0I've never cornered one, so I'll take your word for it! Certainly a lot easier than having a last name that means "cheap"!

Thanked: 3I'm a "real" Dutchman, but until now more active on the other wetshaving forums; there don't seem to be that much Dutch members on the wetshaving forums in general i believe...

Thanked: 1Hi Peter,
About 100% Dutch here as well.
Just starting on the Straight Shaving.
It apears to be quite hard indeed to find anything on this (materials etc.) in "Kikkerland".
Do you use a straight razor, or do you look for wet shaving in general?
