    This is a pic of a stamp that "Tilly" (aka redtrader99, aka the hone lady) sent me showing the hanging hair test.
    What they stamped with this I do not know. Literature?

    Over on the Yahoo SRP site, John Crowley posted a message saying that Ice Hardening/tempering was also used on high carbon razors. Ala the Wonderedge. John knows what he is talking about.

    I've gotten several "stamps" like that off eBay .... I don't think they're stamps like you would use to, say, stamp "FRAGILE" on a package. Rather they are typesetters' blocks used in the old printing presses for advertising. Some are made out of copper, others are almost like a composite of some sort. Anyone in the printing business here?
