Thread: How do you upload pictures?

I couldn't upload some pictures from my computer and into a post.

I've tried clicking on the 'Attachments' button and the did the 'Browse' and 'upload' - but nothing appeared in the post.

Then I tried the 'insert image' button - but it asked for a web address.

Did I miss something?

First off if you're running Mozzila Firefox with "No Script" you have to allow java script. If not then try the manage attachments again and open the window entirely and you'll see a button for "upload". Until you hit that the browse just records your selection.

Alternatively you can upload to Photobucket.com and copy and past the URL into the text box on your post.

Insert image expects an online image address. Click the attachment button again, it should offer you a choice of the images you have previously uploaded.

I tried again this morning - I hit the uploade button twice and I found the attachments in the list. Also they don't appear as images in the preview - so perhaps I missed that.
