Thread: Back online, woohoo!

Greetings Ladies and Gents!

I have a brand spanking new laptop and a new connection to go with it, so finally I'm back online full time again, yay!!!!! Well full time as much as Her Royal Nimbus allows me, hehehe.

I've added my MSN messenger details and will mainly be available after 8pm GMT, sometime I may be around during the day but it's hit and miss due to the Squiddly.

If anyone wants to add me please feel free, but mention SRP please so I don't mistake you as a stalker. LOL

I must be insane, in the 8 years I have been online I have never openly shared my MSN ID on a forum.

I'm having problems loading photos up at the moment and I know a lot of members have been asking about Nim, so if anyone wants to add me on Facebook too - Silver Jones is who I am there. Search using Networks - Wales. I have quite ferocious privacy settings on there and a lot of people can't find me.

If you have any problems drop me a PM with your details and I'll add you from my side, hehehe. Sorry for the hassle but with Nim's photos on there I am very careful who can access my profile. Again please mention SRP when sending a friend request.

So what sort of connection did you get - a DSL, Cable or fiber? I have fiber optic internet here. You can tell what I do for a living in the real world.

I have a USB dongle from a cell phone provider at the mo. Have a 5gb monthly allowance, as I will be moving house soon it was the quickest and esiest way to get back online.

Once I have moved and can afford it I shall be getting fiber op for my home net. Though I am still having a few teething problems getting used to the connection, vista and the laptop (i'm not liking vista much and have already ditched IE for Ffox) it's getting there, hehehe.

I've got a 155Mbs fibre link with a 155mbs failover link as back up .. in backup to that I've also got a 64mb microwave link
