Thread: Utopian and His Mad Honing Skills

I'd just like to thank Utopian publicly for opening my eyes as to what it's like to shave with a sharp razor. The razor gave me the closest shave I've ever had in my life. Absent was the tugging, pulling feeling. It was replaced with gliding and smoothness. For the first time I did not mop up with a "bic." I was able to get the areas around my mouth and nose. My jaw line and neck is smoother than it has ever been. I still need to work on technique there.

Now I'm terrified I'll not be able to keep this good edge.

Neat expression, I never heard it before as a shaving related expression.

That's always a breakthrough when you shave with a real shave-ready razor. From now on you'll have a milestone and you can compare it to other razors you'll have in the future.
