Anybody have "The Lost Art of Straight Razor Shaving" DVD???
Hey guys, I recently became interested in Straight Razors after seeing Lynn's video and a few others on the internet. I am still trying to decide if straight razor shaving is for me. I don't know much about honing or stropping. I heard that there's a dvd that really shows the whole process of straight razor shaving and everything that's involved. I think it's called "The Lost Art of Straight Razor Shaving." Do any of you guys have it? If you you guys don't mind, you think I could borrow it so I can view it and get a better feel for everything involved? I want to watch it once or twice and really see if I want to continue with straight razors. I'll return it ASAP after viewing. I don't mind covering shipping both ways. Let me know if you can help out. Thanks.

it is relatively inexpensive and if you find out you're not interested i'm sure you would have no trouble selling it on.

Thanked: 1Borrow?
The guys here at SRP would do all kinds of things for you to get you started. They will help out any way they can with what ever they have answers for. They are a very generous lot. Collectively, I don't think there is any other source for the good information you can get here on anything "straight razor". I wouldn't even be surprised if someone here offered to lend you a razor for a while if you really needed it...
But I'm thinkin' it's not entirely honest to do what you are asking. I'm also thinking that Mr. Ives put a lot of effort into the creation of that dvd on shaving. I don't think he put it together so it could be passed around freely until everyone saw it.
You may want to check either here or eBay to see if a legitimate used copy is available for sale. I will give you credit, though. At least you didn't ask someone here to "burn" you a copy.
Hope you decide to jump into this new sport... it's a good one
