    Default Maas ?

i have heard many refer to this as a great cleaning tool...and i will be going to wal-mart to pick some up today, but i know there are a few different products that they make, and i dont want to grab the wrong stuff...any specifics on what type of MAAS to buy?

and someone mentioned that it would be in the cleaners isle of mal-mart, near the ajax, this sound about right?

    thanks

I've only seen one version of Maas at Wal-Mart. It's on the cleaning aisle as described below. You will likely have to look closer to the brass polish & such.

Save yourself the trip .... they have a nice polishing cloth that I use on fountain pens, rather than a jeweler's rouge cloth (which is mildly abrasive).

Maas will do nicely but you can also use Fabulustre, available at lapidary stores, or Flex Cut Gold, available at woodworking stores, its used to hone woodworking tools. Maas is the easiest to use, Fabulustre is more difficult and the Flex Cut Gold is in between. Maas is the least aggressive and Flex Cut Gold is the most aggressive of the three. There are other metal polishes but these three have worked the best for me.

    Hope this helps,
