Thanked: 0Curley's transition razor
Hello shavers and collectors,
I have a Curley's transitional style razor that has a safety guard in front of the blade. Does anyone know how to remove the #$**** thing? The straight blade is tarnished and needs sharpening and I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the edge guard.

Thanked: 0If you press down on the tang while holding the razor by spine of the blade, the tang separates from the shank. You can then twist the blade guard down about 180 degrees and now you can slide it off. The blade can now slide out. Hopefully this makes sense.
