World Master Special

Got a nice World Master Special by Soligen off E-Bay. I stropped it up and it sang like crazy when I cut a hanging hair. Very sharp. A nice 6/8 with a quality of steel I haven't seen before. Shaved really nice. Anybody familiar with these razors? Seller said it was about 40-60 years old, but its in pristine condition. Not that I really care, but I haven't seen anything this nice in many years. Words can't really describe how pretty it is so I won't even try. Suffice to say my girlfriend kept bidding on it because she had never seen anything so pretty before. I just wanted to shave with it... lol

I have a couple of these. One is still brand new and un-honed. They are superb shavers and as your girlfriend noted really sharp looking razors. Outstanding nab.......lol. Lynn
