Thanked: 1Watch Out for This Guy on eBay
This guy describes his razors as being %70 to %85 mint all of the time, and they are junk. I really got burned by him. The lost $50 wasn't that big of a deal, but the aggrevation of dealing with a moron was. I even devoted my about me page to him. It could be entertaining to you if you have the time to read it.
His auction ID is loybeloit59.
The auction where I was burned is:

How 'bout some responses. What do you think?

Thanked: 0That is one sad story. Unfortunately I would have to sat ole' Loy won this one. You are out the razors a few bucks and whole lot of headache. The worst part was I read you about me page, and had to suffer that poor fools take on the English grammar. I know I am no wordsmith, but this guy makes me look like a genius.

Thanked: 0Unfortunately I have to call this one at best a draw. The problem is that so few people read the about me pages on Ebay that I'm not sure your message will get out.
Another thought is to send him questions about every razor auction he posts. The questions appear on the auction page for all potential bidders to read.

Bill, you need another tab in the poll: Noone.
It seems to me like no-win situation... And, man, english is not even my native language, and I had hard time reading this guy's coments...Sad that you had to deal with him.

Wow!!!! It sounds like somthing from "Deliverance". Where in the backwoods does he come from? WE all lost in this one, you lost money, he lost respect and we lost our minds trying to read what he wrote. Agghhhhh.
PS. I voted for you because it was too painful and my eyes hurt and you had to read it several times.

I had to vote for Loy on this one because he didn't lose any dignity (he didn't have any to start with). Your brief foray into sarcasm, Bill worked only if was intended to infalme him, which of course it did, but cheapens you a little (no offense ). When he gets pinched for bein' such a knob though, I'll probably laugh (I'm sooooo cheap ).

Thanked: 1OK, X...
What the heck does pinched for bein' such a knob, mean
Is that some kind of subversive across-the boarder slang?
Must be one of those new-fangled younger generation sayings, no?
Regarding the poll, I assumed everyone would know what I meant by the who won the battle. My bad...(California lingo) I was talking about who won the battle of the about me pages... the war of words, as it were. Kinda like who rebounded the best from what the other had said.
In my past emails to Loy, my slight sarcasm was meant to turn on a light, kinda hoping that he would catch on. Well, apparently the light can never come on if it doesn't have a filament, don't ya know. I even tried to give him some pointers for running a more successful auction. I was actually having a little fun with it. Mostly because of his inept responses...
As it goes, the story actually continues. He sent me another email. This is what it said:
BECAREFUL WITH THE LIES YOU SPREAD AND ALSO BECAREFUL WHAN YOU TRY TO REMOVE THE HANDLES FROM YOUR NEXT RAZOR MAKE SURE YOU DONT BREAK LIKE YOU DID MINE
Y'see, his about me page was one thing. I pretty much expected something like that. Delivering this message personally is different. Now he has just pissed me off!! I can accept a lot of names. Got called a lot of them at the jail. No big. But this asswipe just accused me of criminal behavior and attacked my integrity. Ain't happenin'. Now it's time to take him out. You should see the email I sent back to him.
Boy, HOWDY, was it dignified!Last edited by urleebird; 09-15-2005 at 05:52 PM.
