Thread: Any CASE razor experts here?

I think I may have been snookered. Picked up this razor off eb*y the other day and it doesn't feel right. The thing that worries me is the lettering. It is electro-chemical etched rather than stamped or cut into the tang. Never seen Case do that, but then again I don't know much about their razors. It seems very well made, they even put brass washers in the pivot. The other thing is nowhere on the razor itself does it say Solingen or Germany. hmmm The link to it is below, and I can snap some high rez pics if that would help. I think you have one of the newer Case razors that were discontinued. I also think it was originally made for Case by Dovo. The retail was about $150. Occasionally, you can still find some for around $100.
