$50 for a brand new razor is about the minimum you will find, so this one, in excellent condition, should be worth about that much. And it not being made anymore!

I'd rate that as a good buy, except it's almost too pretty to use. Yowza!

I guess I got lucky...it stayed within my range, although I was surprised. Now, if it is just as pretty in person...

It's a beauty Randy! And from what I've been seeing for this excellent brand, you got a great price.

I saved the pictures and blew them up as much as I could to look at them and the razor still looked very clean.

    Thanks Joe,

I am excited for it to arrive. This weekend would be nice, but I'm betting I don't see it until Monday.

    Yoou're probably right.

One suggestion. When you receive it, look at the edge under a microscope. To my surprize, I've found that even the Ebay razors that shave OK after a mild hone have tiny nicks that you can't see with your eye. If you start out by taking those out, the razor becomes really keen from the first shave.

    Enjoy it!

Sage advice, Joe. I plan to buy the "cheapie" microscope from Radio Shack. I've purchased a limited number of "shave ready" razors, and plan to keep a couple of them unused until I do get the "scope". That way I will know what I am looking for!
