A new Lady for my stable
Just picked this up from another lady here on the forum who doesn't care for the larger blades. This one is almost too pretty to shave with. She's a 7/8 so it will be interesting to try her out.

08-25-2009, 01:42 AM #2That's a beaut! Is this a newer blade or an older blade? Maybe better stated, from what time period did the blade spring? I just don't remember seeing color on a blade like that before, but then I haven't seen that many, comparitively speaking.

I think its probably a relatively newer blade, 1950-60's maybe. Not sure what years Edflstahl was in business.
*edit*
Hmm Just realized, Edflstahl means stainless steel, Not sure who the manufacturer is. Will try to figure it out once she get's here.Last edited by CarrieM; 08-25-2009 at 02:16 AM.

She is a beaute Carrie! I have a solingen too, not as pretty though. lol Mine is a Snake Razor, with a pic of a snake in strike pose on the scales, hehehehe
It's not uncommon to see decoration on the blade itself. Some Ducks are gold-washed but I haven't seen one like that before. Please tell us how she drives, you are one lucky lady.Last edited by Silver; 08-26-2009 at 09:18 AM.

I've seen a few Friodur 70 1/2's with blue and red enamel decoration on the blade. I thin there was a blue pattern and the twins were in red or something.

Thanked: 259that is a really great razor. would not mind having that in my collection as i have never seen one with that design. well worth hanging on too. of course if you ever wanted to part with it, i might force myself into accepting the thought of buying it...hope it works great for you
