Supplies in NYC?
Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Grand Order of the BBS Shave,
My wife and I will be traveling to the US, or, more specifically, to NYC next week. Since this is my first trip to that city in quite a while and the last one having been way before my enlightened days of straight shaving, I am turning to you, my dear Friends of the straight blade, to seek advice on where to satisfy my developing AD and stock up on decent (read: recommended quality) supplies of all kinds.
Any specialist purveyors or larger department-store-like outlets and everything in-between are welcome and I will have a 20-hour flight to work on a strategy of guiding my wife to yet another store after having visited a dozen at least on our first day back in the city..
In advance already thank you for the excellent advise I know I will be getting here.

Just returned from our trip States-side and wanted to share with you the nice small Barber shop I came accross in NYC, on Elizabeth Street in Soho.
The name is "The Shaving Company of New York" and their website is The New York Shaving Company
Since I was travelling on a rather rigid schedule and on those 2 days when I was able to pass by the shop, there was a line of guys waiting for their straight shave and I had to postpone my own shave to a future visit. Luckily, they were also selling some supplies and soaps, so I was t least able to satisfy my AD..
On display were a few Straights, some DE's and blades, brushes of various sizes and quite a nice selection of soaps, pre-shave oils and other related products from Taylor of Old Bond Street. I ended up buying a couple of Shave creams and soaps in various scents which I will be enjoying this weekend...
Wishing you all a good one as well.
