    Default Trumper Wet Pack?

Anyone own this bit 'o traveling luxury? It looks sweet and seems to be just the ticket to carry my stuff, but I wonder about provisions to securely carry the str8s. There is a strap that runs through the middle that's holding a toothbrush and a fancy handled mach3, if those are adjustable it would be perfect. Just wondering if anyone's researched (or owns) one of these.

So no wet pack guys here? Should I take that as it's not a good piece for str8s? Any other recommendations for a str8 user to pack his gear on the road in style? My birthday is coming up and my wife is looking to buy me something nice, something I can pass down to one of our boys someday, so I'm not looking at the economical nylon jobbies. Right now I just wrap a rubber band around them to keep them from opening and throwing them in an old leather shoebag style toiletry bag with everything else. There must be a better way...?

    3P,

No personal experience here, but there is a thread at SMF you may check out: http://tinyurl.com/7ezqd

Might be worth a read to you.

    Hi Threeputt,

If your travelling with str8s in a humid climate, I would recommend packing them in some plastic coffins. Packing them in wet kit may allow the oil protectant (as I found out all too late) to rub off where the blade is exposed allowing for corrosion to set in. I had no problems with those blades I had kept in their coffins while stored inside my wet pack.

Good info guys. Many and varied opinions are the greatest advantage of the net. Still comparing but narrowing them down...
