Thanked: 235Has anyone else had a similar problem with Pay Pal?
What's the problem you ask? Well, Pay Pal won't let me spend my money on what I want. You see my Pay Pal account is based in Australia but I live in Thailand. I want to buy a hone from Straightrazordesigns, but Pay Pal won't let me complete the transaction because they will only allow me to pay for something being sent to Australia.
I have been trying my hardest to save enough money for a new hone by buying and selling stuff. But now that I have enough money for what I want Pay Pal won't let me buy it.
Does anyone else have any stories like this, or does this only happen to me?

Hmm...that is a pain, but I can see why it is an important safety feature...
Can you make an account for Thailand?

Thanked: 235I can make an account for Thailand, but it has to wait until I can call them in Australia to transfer my balance without losing too much. I've never had this problem with them before, but I have never used Pay Pal to buy anything as big as a hone before.

Maybe there is someone who could act as a middle man for you- ship it to them, then have them send it on to you? It'd cost extra postage, but you could keep your old acc't...

Thanked: 235I finally got around the problem. I used my wife's pay pal account. Even though her account is also based in Australia, she has a Thai credit card linked to her account. So now I am eagerly awaiting the arival of a naniwa 3000/8000 hone.
