Thanked: 1Just to reiterate what I'm sure most already know,
how cool of a guy Lynn really is.
I had the pleasure of meeting him face to face recently.
He gave me a honing lesson and stropping lesson that is invaluable. I've never been that good with sharpening knives so I thought I could never hone a razor. Well, after a bit with Lynn and him watching me hone my razor, man the next day I had my best ever straight shave. I used SRD's shaving soap in blood orange by the way, I highly recommend SRD's soaps.
Lynn is a nice guy, so knowledgeable and so willing to share that knowledge. I know every one on here can appreciate and has benefited from him.
As an aside guys, my wife was impressed with the stones and all that goes with it, I think she appreciates it now so I don't think I'll be getting much friction from her. I'm sure she also likes that I shave more often now so she doesn't get as much friction from me.
Well, thanks again LynnBe water my friend

Thanked: 1262yep.
Lynn has never been one to hide his "honing secrets" and is still willing to help people out after all these years.

We have been kicking around the idea of a mini get together in the Cleve/Akron area. If we get it going, I hope you can attend.

Just to reiterate . . .
Gentlemen,
The biggest compliment I can give someone is that he or she has class.
Lynn has class.
To me, the term class highlights a wide spectrum of personal attributes, including kindness, generosity and knowledge. I have never met Lynn in person; however, we have communicated on the phone and by e-mail many times. Lynn's class comes through from the first meeting, even on the telephone and through e-mail.
I live far from Ohio. Someday, though, I know Lynn and I will sit a spell to enjoy a cigar and a glass of cognac. Until then, here is to my shave guru Lynn.
Regards,
Obie

Thanked: 328Guys/Gals
I've known Lynn for over 6 years now. And in those 6 years I've come to think of Lynn as family. He's truly a terrific guy.
