Thread: Big day today.

Today is a day i have been waiting for a long time for. Today I officially became a homeowner. I just got done with the closing on me and my wifes first home. We have been renting far to long and today was a great step forward for us. Now i cant wait to start ripping down wallpaper and smashing out old ugly tile so i can make this house our home. If anyone wants to send a housewarming gift i do except straightrazors. Actualy i prefer heavy grinds. Haha just kidding about that part but man am i happy to be the proud owner of my 3 bedroom capecod style home. wooo hooo.

Congrats! I can't wait until my fiance and I are married and finally have enough money to start looking...

Welcome to the homeowners club.

One of the first things to hit me after I bought my first home was when something breaks you can't call the manager. Just make sure you set aside a sum of momey to handle all the eventualities that always pop up. If your handy you won't need much but you still need something.
