Thanked: 3Euro to USD
I was doing some searching on Germany's Ebay and had a question about converting EURO to USD.
When I see something like EUR 12,50 does it mean:
12,50 Euros = 18,45375 U.S. dollars
or
18.45375 USD
I'm assuming 18.4 but just want to be sure.

That is 18 dollars and 45 cents....different uses for commas and dots, at least between Spanish and English...

Germans (actually most other countries) use commas where Americans use decimals and decimals where Americans use commas. In math at least. so 12,50 E = 18.4 $.
On that note you'll probably pay at least $2 more than that because Paypal is a ********** ********** **** *** ****** *********** ******* and steals your money, aka, adds a premium to currency conversion.Last edited by khaos; 10-09-2009 at 12:54 PM.
