Thanked: 0Travel trimmer
Hi guys!
And welcome everybody to this forum.
I am looking for non-bulky trimmer I can easily carry on for my travels (both facial and body hair - so that will probably two pieces). Electrics take up too much place but how about good old mechanics? Body hair is lighter than facial hair, so that one will be the easier.
For example, how about this one? Will it take both jobs? I mean, two separate pieces:
Hairdressing Hair Razor Trimmer with Blades%
It looks cheap plastic for the high price, so if you know a better model, feel free to post it.
I like it uses standard razor blades which are easy to find anywhere. And for the best results I can install supersharp Feather blades. Your thoughts on that?

To tell you the truth they have electric trimmers that weigh almost nothing and take up no more space than a straight. If you talking body hair that's what you need.

Anyways, guys do you always clean shave? Doesn't It gets boring? I like the idea of just trimming my facial hair, hence looking for the tool.

I have a Panasonic unit. It came as a kit with all kinds of attachments. I think I paid about $30 at bed bath beyond.

Is it for the body hair or facial hair? Would you post a link or product number?
Anyways, as we are here at Straight Razor Place, I am also interested in the historical way of doing things.
It seems the link disappeared... so what I posted originally is a hair trimmer. This link will work.
I know they use to do some kind of this to trim hair and sideburns for zero lengths... but for adjusting the length?
On the other hand there is a robust scissor like -non electric- device by -I think- German Solingen companies... but I can't find the link now. could you help me out?Last edited by straight; 10-20-2009 at 07:47 PM.
