Thanked: 0Straight razor export
Hi to all of you. A friend gave me a link to your site and I can say I'm fascinated. Now, straight to the point.
Although I have a straight razor, I have never shaved with it or any other in my life. I consider shaving with one soon, but I need some advice first. I'm going to the USA in the near future and I'm planning to buy at least one straight razor and to take it back to my country (Bulgaria). And that's the problem. I searched for information on flying with a straight razor in my luggage, but I couldn't find any. So, if possible, could someone who knows tell if it is possible to take a razor in my checked luggage? Will I be allowed to leave the US airport with a blade in my suitcase?
Excuse me if I posted the thread in the wrong section.

Well done on finding the info you needed. I've travelled to South Africa & back with one in my checked luggage with no problems.

I have shipped razors to Bulgaria. I suspect the problem is customs on their end. It might be a better deal if he carries it in to country.
