My impression was most people will choose the money reason but it wasn't. it was last place only 1 person choose it?

Obviously that one person doesn't have RAD or HAD .... yet.

Gentlemen,

For me, the answer starts with number one, the most important, followed by the rest, which are also valid reasons why I shave straight.

I'll go ahead and answer even though the poll slightly confused me. I am not so bright

I started using a straight razor because it was cheaper and made use of long-lasting quality tools compared to what I was doing at the time. I continued using it because I was stubborn to learn to use those long-lasting quality tools I had purchased.

Now I use straight razors not only for the reasons above, but also because I get a better shave with a straight razor and because I enjoy using the antique tools

I've been shaving with a DE for about 8 months and have been reading about the better quality shaves with a straight, so I'm want to try. Ordered my razor today, and looking forward to my first shave of the cheek.
