Guess what I forgot
So Im waiting for the bus to spend the holiday with my family and I brought all my shaving supplies, except one. Guess which one.

I would have voted for razor but as you say it is a single item it's more likely the strop as I presume you would take more than one razor with you just in case you drop one.

Forget a brush? you can always make lather with your hands.
Forget soap? There is always something available. I have used both Dove and Johnsons baby shampoo with good results.
Forget a strop? There is always a belt or a pants leg or even the palm of your hand.
Forget your straight? Can't do a straight shave without one!
