The weather here in northern VA brightened up enough to get in one last motorcycle ride before the end of the season. So, I thought, hey, why not add even more fun to the day by stopping at all the antique shops along my country riding route and see if I can score a straight or two...

Well, no word a lie, in 4 of the 5 shops I stopped in the first words out of the mouth of the proprietor were, "Oh, another guy was in here just a few days ago asking for them." And, at least one said, "I thought I had one or two Sheffields around here but they must've just been sold.'

Now I'm really curious to know if the person who beat me to the shops really did manage to score any nice restoration candidates.

So, if you've picked up any straights from antique shops in the Purceville, Lovettsville, and Lucketts areas of northern Virginia in the past week or two how about posting a reply or shooting a PM. I'm just dying to know if you found anything good
