Whats razors is/are on your Christmas list?

Dovo Mammoth Ivory with the Dinosaur on the blade
TI Egyptian Palm Wood
TI Damascus 7/8 with jigged horn scales

That ought to do it Santa.

Oh, and one of those $600.00 English super Badger brushes would be nice too if your feeling generous.

I really want a SRP TI. I think it would be nice. With all sorts of creams and other shaving stuff.

P.S. How do you guys like the sandlewood scent from Taylor for their cream and aftershave balm..?

Christmas is against my religion .

I'm sick of all the commercialism and phony smiles and "good cheer" and "charity" limited to a commercial season that saps the economic strength from the individuals who work for a living and giving it to the corporate parasites that don't give one dang about this country's economic stability.

Being without enough work to feed the family for several yearswhile watching the retirement and college funds dwindle will put the "bah humbug" into a man fast.

but as far as a wish list. I just want to get some of these practice razors honed really nice and this deer and elk horn cut and etched to look similar to stag scales and see how much they'll go for on ebay .

I gotta second that one, FUD. I used to work in a mall years ago and it was the worst at Christmas time. Screaming brats and miserable parents and all that advertising telling me to buy, buy, buy! Now I get the few gifts I need early or from small craftsmen and avoid the insanity entirely.

Christmas is about sharing good times with family and friends and appreciating the love you share for each other. Hard to get there under the pressure of material expectation.

That said . . . I'd have to put Maestro Livi's Ebony of Madagascar in a 6/8th width at the top of my list followed shortly by a TI of some kind. Being very happy with what I've got now though, I won't need it.

That's why I love Thanksgiving. My Favourite holiday of the year. Christmas puts to much emphasis on gifts and not enough on the three "F"s (Family, friends, and food).

My wife and I try to make gifts for our family when we can (not this year, though, too many things going on this year to find the time. Besides, the plane tickets are burning up our budget).

Only one thing on my list, A USS New Jersey Coffee mug to use as a shaving mug. The heavy ceramic one like I used to have but left on the ship when I was a kid. I guess when I got my DD-214 I was too excited to pack all my stuff.

Oh, and I can always use another beer

These beauties are certainly desireable but are they used for their intended purpose or are they merely part of a collection - like keeping a classic car garaged with only 7 miles on the odometer?

I highly recommend the SRP L/E TI 6/8. Everyone should have one! I received mine a couple of weeks ago and love it. Great shaver!!!

I also received a sample of Taylors Sandalwood that I didn't care too much for, primarily the scent. I prefer the Sandalwood cream from Trumpers which I use regularly. However, I really liked the other samples Taylor sent me: Mr. Taylor's and Eton. Both of these smelled nice and make great lather! They're both on my Christmas list.
