My worst Shaving sustained injury
This is why you don't answer the phone while shaving, even if it is your wife calling. This was after I rinsed it under cold water for about half a minute. Anyone else got anything cool?

Thanked: 0Yeah...
While holding the hone and doing quick laps, I accidentally cut myself on the top of the finger, removing a bit of skin and flesh (not very big, rice grain size). I couldn't stop the bleeding so I went to the pharmacy with blood falling from my hand. Everyone looked pretty sacred, but it wasn't that bad. Now I have a little scar... It reminds me I have to pay attention while honing...

I was polishing a "Dull" blade and it sliced right into my thumb. Along the side outside the nail so I had an inch long 1/4" wide flap of skin hanging off the side of my thumb. Bled like crazy and was ripping open twice a day for about a week. I don't scar at all, but you can tell that the outside edge of my right thumb is a little... well... flat.

that's one of my fears...not paying attention and whacking my hand, arm, or other extremity. Hope it heals up fast.
