Thread: Tip of the hat to Max!

Mad Max is the man! He is a major contributor to this site and I always look forward to seeing his latest restores. If you know anything about straight razors you would be proud to own at least one of his excellent restores/rescales!

Yeah, Max is indeed the master when it comes to resto. I can't believe some of the work he does. Meticulous + the man is an artist in metal and in scale design and execution.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

We all know Max's ability and attention to detail in his beautiful restores, but what makes Max great has nothing to do with that. It is Max the "person" that makes him special. His kindness and gentleman-like behavior is what makes him "MAX"!

I agree with Doc!!!
Max has worked on a few razors for me now, two restores, 5 or 6 rescales and multiple hones. Everything he does is spot on. and a great great guy. Talk to him for 5 minutes and he feels like one of your best friends, just a first rate person and amazing craftsman.

Thanked: 431Hey Doc, you're living dangerously aren't you? You know that you are not suppose to utter certain things. You know they're watching.
Maybe you should put out a statement something along the lines that you are of sound mind and that there is nothing mechanically wrong with your vehicle. Oh well, if you do disappear some of us will have a good idea what happened.
