Thanked: 0Cheap razor on ebay ...
Hey
i'm new here on the forum and i live in Belgium. So escuse me for my bad English ...
Last i discovered this on ebay:
http://cgi.benl.ebay.be/Lot-of-3-new...QQcmdZViewItem
It's a cheap razor and i want to know: does anyone have experience with this razor? Good or bad. Here in Belgium, we can buy dovo and thiers-issard. But they are ratter expensive when i compare the prices from U.K. and other countries. So my question: is it realy worth ordering a razor on ebay or am i better off with a Dovo or Thier-Issard razor?

I can't say I've ever heard of that brand. You might want to talk to Superfly to see if he has any he might be willing to sell to you. He's at least in the same country and you can trust him.

There's a thread recently in the forums on eBay razors/sellers to avoid, and I'm surprised it hasn't been made sticky yet! (mods! ) Anyway, take a look at that thread before making an eBay purchase and I'd recommend, if at all possible, take a look at Bill Ellis' site and pick one of the really nice ones there: Billy's Blades
Hope that helps!

Thanked: 0That looks like one that I bought that was absolutely useless. I would be very wary about buying something like those of ebay.

mgraepel, thanx for the trust, but I cannot help him right now. Guzzio, you are better of with a razor from member here, if you want it sharp and shave ready, and if you have some money to spend, get that Thier-Issard, they are one of the best razors available. The razor that you get from forum members will be of good-excelent quality too... I would stay away from that find on e-bay... At least you are in the right country for getting that famous blue-yellow Belgian stone
Hey, Theo, what have you against non-EU members , I thought you are going to the States! In October the European Union (EU) formally opened accession talks with Macedonia, and the summer of year 2006 Macedonia should receive an invitation for EU membership.
BTW, where were you, we missed you in the chat room...
cheers,

Thanked: 2209Two people have tried that brand of razor. They are no good for shaving.
Try www.billysblaades.com and www.thewellshavedgentleman.com and www.classicshaving.com
All have excellent values.
