Thread: Playboy January-Febuary 2010 Issue

A friend of mine at work gave me this issue yesterday since he knows I use a straight. Good article and pics (of the razors).

Nice, I bought my first straight pre-honed from The Invisible Edge a Wapi, still have it, shaves as good as the day I got her, albeit from me touching up the edge a lot on diamond film.

That's pretty cool, I've grown to appreciate playboy much more for the articles and witty commentary as Ive gotten older, plus my barber keeps copies in the joint..hehe

I promise you my wife would get more upset if she knew I bought it because of the razor article... There's no question about it!

Absolutely no doubt in my mind that's what would happen around here.

What's really funny is that when I look at the car magazines with half naked women all over the place, I hardly even notice them. I opened one with a Camaro SS with a beautiful chrome supercharger and custom paint job (Victory Red with racing stripes) and it happened to have some girl on it. I actually though "jeeze, I wish she'd get off the car so I could see the interior better."

They really should have naked girls holding the razors (very carefully at the pivot, to be sure they don't obscure the tang markings), just to give us a little cover.

I'm afraid I have to take back everything I said about how copious the info in it was. I didn't realized it was a "Double Issue".

I guess when they said it was the "Jan-Feb" issue they weren't kidding. What happens to us poor shmucks with a subscription in February? Do we just look at the January issue again?

You read half in Jan and then read the other half in Feb same with the pics !!!!!
