    Default Starting str8

    Hello Gentlemen,

After reading the forum, asking some questions, studying Ch.Moss guide and Lynn's video, I bought cheap Polish made shavette and tried. It sucked! Mostly because of my technique probably but I didn't noticed that this shavette quality was very bad and the half of DE wasn't really fixed tightly in the blade holder so the blade was moving! I throw it and bought another 5$ one but Italian made this time. And the same! Both were probably designed to hair shaping bur for shaving the blade should be fixed as real str8 one, shouldn't it? It made me really discouraged to try again if the str8 shaving is right for me. But someone at shavemyface.com or badgerandblade.com told me to ask you, guys at straightrazorplace.com, for some cheap used str8 to buy/donate to check is str8s for me. Is it really you have some trial razors here?

    Cheers
    Pawel

    Thumbs up

I think the best place for shave ready inexpensive straight razors is Billy's Blades. This site is owned and operated by one of the members here, urleebird. His work is great and the razors are reasonably priced for starters.

Anyone have a "loaner" razor for this man?

None of mine are ready at this time. I will have some in the future.
