Hey Tony, or anyone else for that matter . . . ever consider something like this? http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 It's a razor case, hone and strop all in one. Now that's convenience.

    Default I like it!

I may have to put that on my list of shaving accessories to build. Suggestions on which hone to include? Swaty's are somewhat hard to come by...maybe one of Tillies'?

Since it's best used for touch ups, I'd say the Lithide.

Looks like it would be difficult to really wet the stone. you caould wipe it with water but soaking is out of the question.

Cool item but I don't think I could build it at a price that would sell easily. great item x small demand = large price. Kind of like a Box Strop.

Well thanks alot Xman <g>. Now I can't get this stupid thing out of my head.

The more I look at it and say it is not practical the more I "need" one. Let me see if there is an equally clever way to build one and hold a small barber hone in place.

...........goes off to the woodshop mumbling to himself..........
