Very cool...but I'm wondering about safety equipment. Goggles? Gloves? Still, an amazing thing to watch! Do you think Bill Ellis taught them???

    Wow,
That TI video is great. I do wonder if they are still really being made like that or have gotton a bit more automated and we are seeing a demonstration of "the good ole' days".
Some interesting things was the fellow using the hone near the end and flipping the razor the wrong way <g>. Looks like they believe in using a pasted strop after using a hone too.

Makes me want another TI now.....

Very nice. I now feel the burning need to purchase a Thiers Issard razor- Must resist temptation....
If anyone else with a Mac is having trouble getting the link to work try control-clicking on the link then select 'Dowload linked file' from the menu. After the file has downloaded to your desktop, open it with either Windows Media Player or VLC.

This one was more fun than the DOVO tour IMO, it was more nostalgic.
I dont think the current process would be more automated (at least not by much if at all) because this was nearly the same equipment and techniques showed in the DOVO video as well.
    Fun Vidi, thanks for sharing
